Many thanks to the crew of the Mariner for another great day of whale wathcing! For the past three weeks we have been seeing Gray Whales on every trip we've sent out. This is a common theme during this time of year as Depoe Bay is a hot spot for resident whales and transients alike. The waters off our coast offer an abundance of their preferred food source as well as a great place to develop the hunting skills of their young. We couldn't be happier to call this natural marvel our home and would love to introdcue you to the many creatures we share it with.
