Fishing Report

Tradewinds Crew

The last two days of fishing out of Depoe Bay have been another solid stretch for our fleet at Tradewinds Charters! Our crews have been running 5-hour bottom fishing trips, and fishing has remained steady with the vast majority of anglers coming in close to limits or limiting out on Rockfish.

One thing we’ve really noticed lately is the quality of the fish. The Rockfish hitting the docks have been some of the biggest and nicest we’ve seen in a long time, making for some impressive catches and happy anglers.

We’re also continuing to see some nice Lingcod brought in every day, and another exciting sign is the increasing number of Cabezon showing up. While we can’t retain these toothy critters until July 1, it’s a very promising indication that we could be in for an excellent Cabezon season this year.

Crabbing continues to improve steadily as well, with pots producing better results as we move deeper into summer.

We have 5-hour bottom fishing trips departing daily. To reserve your spot, give us a call at 541-765-2345 or book online at www.tradewindscharters.com.
