Tougher Fishing with Still Stellar Crabbing

Tougher Fishing with Still Stellar Crabbing

It was a tougher day on the Pond today with thick fog on a fairly nice ocean.  The Crabbing remains Great but our Rockfish bite wasn't as good as it's been.  The Lingcod and Cabezon have been improving.

Salmon is closing tomorrow to give the Salmonids a rest for a week before our non-selective season starts on Labor Day, September 1st.  Non-selective means we can keep the Wild Salmon which the Wild ratios have been huge!  We converted tomorrow's Salmon trip to Bottom Fishing and Crabbing where we have been getting much better results lately.

Outer Limits reported 32 Rockfish, 10 Lings and 157 Crab.

Mariner ended with 31 Rockfish, 3 Fat Cabezon, and 2 Lings.  84 Crab out of less Pots.

Kadaho recorded 21 Rockfish, 3 Nice Lingcod, and 96 Crab.

Kingfisher landed 38 Rockfish with 4 Big Cabezon and were not Crabbing today.

The forecast looks great and the fishing will improve so Quit Wishin'!
