Fish Report for 8-16-2025

Rocky and Crabby
8-16-2025
Tradewinds Crew
The Great Rockfishing and Crabbing continues. As has been the case for a long while now it continues to be Rockfish Solid with an excellent Grade and Nice Variety. Salmon was a bit challenging today with a bigger and steeper swell than what's normal for this time of year. Bait Fish tend to swim form side to side rather than up and down. Today the boats were rocking just enough to make it tougher than normal causing the lures to jump more than we'd like. Crabbing remains exceptional.
Outer Limits got early Limits of Rockfish and a few nice Cabezon. 117 Crab.
Kingfisher got 3/4 of their Rockfish, a couple of Lingcod and a couple of Cabezon. 59 Crab
Kadaho ended with 5/6 of their Rockfish and 137 Crab!
The Mariner and Mr Max were on Trifectas with some tougher than normal Salmon fishing with the steep swell.
Mr Max got 2 Keepers and some Wild Salmon but made up for that with a Limit of Nice Rockfish and a limit of Crab.
Mariner ended up with 1 Keeper and 9 Wild Salmon with lots of Drivebys with the boat a rockin'. Also another Limit of Rockfish with 70 Crab..
