Fish On Fish On!

Tradewinds Crew
Another great day on the Pacific with a good variety of really nice size Rockfish. We love seeing this as it is an indication of our fish management. It's looking good for our Grandchildren and Great Grandkids to have a blast catching fish for dinner!
At Tradewinds we are proud members of Fishing Poles for Kids which supplies fishing rods for income restricted kids. It is a fantastic organization that we ask folks to donate a dollar when they book a fishing trip. We buy a lot of rods for kids as a result and we thank our awsome clients for their support.
We also support the Oregon Kelp Alliance in the same way, which is saving our kelp forests. Kelp is a vital part of of our Ocean ecosystem and is the top of the food chain. Baitfish thrive in our Kelp Forests that support all Fish! Our Kelp was having a hard time with the die-off of our Starfish about 10 years ago. Our Starfish eat the Green Sea Urchins that eat the kelp. The Starfish are recovering nicely resulting in our kelp recovery.
Thanks all for your support!!
Kingfisher got early Limits of Rockfish with a handful of Lingcod. They weren't Crabbing.
Kadaho got 123 beautiful Rockfish, 4 Lings, a Cabezon, and no Crab since they didn't drop pots.
Mariner ended with 3/4 of their Rockfish, 3 Lings of which one was a very nice Hitchiker in the picture above.
Outer Limits ended up with 2/3 of their Rockfish, 3 Big Cabezon, and 121 Crab.
Mr Max had a good Trifecta today with lots of Wild Salmon, and almost 1 Keeper per angler. A limit of Rockfish, and 100 Crab.
