It was a good day once again on a perfect ocean with clear skies. The Rockfish continue to be really impressive with an average size of about 5 pounds. The Variety has been really nice to see with a plethora of colors in the totes. The Lings were a little slower today with this spectacular weather we've been having. Crabbing doesn't get much better with high counts of Big Crab.
Kadaho had their limit of Nice Rockfish by 9am then went on the hunt for Lingcod just to let the Pots soak longer. It paid off with 151 Crab!
Mr Max was 5 Rockfish shy of a Limit with some real Toad Sea Bass in the mix. Several nice Lings and 132 Crab!
Kingfisher had several large families with lots of youngsters who had a blast pulling in 25 Rockfish, a couple of Giant Lingcod and Cabezon. Giant by kids standards any way. Those kids sure had fun and we had fun with them! Kingfisher wasn't Crabbing but they will be next time as the kids love to Crab.
The morning forecasts look great so Quit Wishin and lets have some fun Goin' Fishin'!
