Today was a mixed Bag on a Cold Water Pacific.  After a strong blow out of the North our Ocean temp has cooled significantly to less than 48 degrees which can make the fish a bit lethargic for a day or 2 until they can adjust.  Our Rockfish Limit has been raised to 5 and we can now retain Cabezon which is like a Lingcod on Steroids like the picture above..  They put up a tremendous fight with usually getting them about half way up then they try getting back to the bottom with success more often than not.  They are fatties anf have huge pectoral fins with an extra thick tail that helps them to accomplish this.

The Outer Limits got 3/4 of their Rockfish with a solid dozen Lingcod and  51 crab.

Kadaho made the most of a tough bite today, picking up some Nice Rockfish then switching gears to target Lings and Cabbies
with sweet results.  The crew hauled in a dozen Lings, 7 Cabezon with about 30 crab.

Some days its about more than the catch.  The Mr Max crew put in the work landing a couple handfuls of Rockfish with about 30 crab.  Slower fishing didn't hurt the fun everyone on board experienced.  Still a great day on a Nice Pacific.

Our forseeable forecast looks very nice so Let's Go Fishin' and Quit Wishin'!
