Fish Report for 7-2-2025

It's Good to be Back on the Water!

Tradewinds Crew
It was great to get back out there today with the Bottom Fish still biting well. We had some mixed results today with all our boats producing nice catches. The Kadaho went on the hunt for Salmon but only threw back a Wild one in about 3 hours so switched to Bottom Fish with Solid results. We had a serious North wind the last couple of days that significantly cooled our water which scatters the Salmon. Crabbing was productive also for those that were after the Spiders of the Sea.
Outer Limits was 12 Fish shy on a phenomenal Grade of Rockfish with 12 Lings and 46 crab. The Rockfish Limit was raised to 5 fish after July 1st so that makes 63 beauties plus Crab and Lings for Chris, Nick, Ethan and Crew.
The Mariner had a slower start on the Rockfish so Captains Booner and Keith targeted Cabezon and Lingcod with nice results. And yes, we can keep Cabbies now also and they got 13 of them with 8 Lingcod and 68 crab. They also got a few Hands of Rockfish.
Kaleb and AJ on the Kadaho started in on the Salmon and ended up with over half their Rockfish plus 4 Lings in about an hour of targeting them.
The forecast looks Swell with hardly any Swell as far as we can see so Quit Wishin' and Let's Go Fishin'!
