Fishing Tough for Some on Choppy Seas
5-27-2025
Tradewinds Crew
We got a late start today with extreme minus tides this morning. We had a larger than expected chop today with a strong current so some of our clients struggled a bit to present our lures properly to the fish. Those who did, did pretty well.
When the boat's rocking it's best to put your rod tip down when the side of the boat we're fishing on rises up. This helps to combat taking the lure away from the fish repeatedly. The idea is to make your lure look as natural as possible.
Crabbing was 3 per person and is showing signs of really picking up. Lots of Females had to be sorted through.
The forecast looks solid through Saturday then it looks like a swell and some winds may be coming for a few days.
Let's get out there while the gettins good!
