Smokin' Bite on the Rockfish

Today was a frenzied day on the Rockfish but the Ling catch was down. The Rockfish were biting like flees but the Lings were finicky.  We made up for it with a really nice grade of Toothless critters with 2 fish short of a limit for all.  They were all what we like to call Jurassic on the Suspended Fish end.

Crabbing is slowly getting better with 3 a round on one boat and 1.5 on the other.  Sometimes one pot is stuffed and the ones right next to it are blanks but a solid average across the board.  The crabbing should start really picking up as the Commercial Pots are dwindling quickly.

The extended forecast looks pretty darn solid through Saturday the 26th so Quit Wishin' and Let's Go Fishin'!!
