The "Big Blue Boat" (Kadaho) and the Mariner had a great day of whale cruising today! During the summer time we get the pleasure of seeing our resident whales in full force. It's a common misconception that the whale watching season ends in the spring. This is not so! In Depoe Bay, as the Whale Watching capital of the West Coast, we are known for having one of the longest seasons for this activity since the nearly two hundred resident Gray Whales fill the summer gap in between Spring and Fall migrations. We send trips out to see our favorite locals every day, ocean permitting.
