Monday fishing report (6/19)
A decent day out on the bottom fishing reefs this morning at least for the whole fleet as it was better then it has been especially on the inside reefs. Not a great Lingcod bite today as only a few caught but one was 43-inches and weighed in at 33 pounds landed on the Kadaho this morning That is a large fish! The picture of that fish is attached to this report.
The rockfish bite was slow at the start but came alive in the last hour or so and the light tackle boats did well thanks to that late bite. The offshore rockfish bite was also a little slower then it has been but five hour trips make for good catches and so it was.
Crabbing again was excellent.
