Captain: Roman Smolcic

Captain Roman is skippering his own NEW vessel in the Tradewinds Fleet, the Starship. Roman will be in his 6th season as a skipper out of Tradewinds and has spent the past five years running the SeaSon and most recently the Morning Star. His new boat will fish for Salmon, Bottom fish, Crab, Halibut and Tuna. The Starship is a very sturdy 35 foot vessel very well equipped with electronics and fishing gear and is offshore certified. The Starship will also be the ONLY vessel in Depoe Bay equipped with hydraulic down riggers which makes the boat capable of fishing for Chinook salmon. With his commercial salmon gear and 50 pound cannon balls NO Chinook salmon will be safe from this vessel.

Captain: Perry York

Captained by owner/operator, Perry York, this 50 foot Rawson will take you offshore on that exciting Halibut or Albacore Tuna experience you've dreamed of and ice your catch down to keep them store bought fresh. Captain Perry knows where the big Lingcod spots are and will take you there in comfort and will be using top of the line fishing tackle. The Amigo is also equipped for salmon, crab combos, inshore fishing as well as whale watch cruises.

Captain: Rick Hall

The Siamez is Tradewinds small boat offshore specialty fishing boat. Rick has many years of experience and his specialty is Tuna fishing. Rick has developed a reputation for knowing where the Tuna are and how to catch them. If you have a smaller group up to 8 passengers the Siamez would be the boat for you. The vessel uses top-flight fishing tackle for both Halibut and Albacore Tuna.

Captain: Darrell Hobbs

Captained by owner/operator Darrell Hobbs, this 50 foot Delta/Delta twin diesel specializes in light tackle bottom fishing, crabbing and whale watching cruises. Kadaho has tons of walk around deck space and a large cabin to accommodate clients, the vessel also has hull doors for handicap access. Darrell has many years of experience operating out of Depoe Bay.

Captain: Richard Newton

Captained by owner/operator Richard Newton. The Kimberly Ann, a 35 foot single diesel unique 6-pack vessel with walk around boat fishing access. Richard specializes in deep water-heavy tackle bottom fishing inshore and offshore allowing passengers to fish in deeper water Lingcod holes. The Kimberly Ann is equipped with premium fishing tackle and fishes salmon as well as ocean crabbing.

Captain: Dan Zimmerman (Booner)

Captained by owner/operator Dan "Booner" Zimmerman, this 43 foot Delta twin diesel specializes in light tackle Bottom Fishing, Crabbing, Salmon Fishing and Whale Watching Cruises. Booner ran the "Tradewinds Kingfisher" before owning the Mariner, and has been operating out of Depoe Bay for 26+ years.

Captain: Dustin Couch

Captain Dustin Couch is skippering the Morning Star, a 43 foot vessel. He has a good reputation as a skipper for finding the fish and producing excellent catches. Before Skippering, Dustin was a deckhand on charter fishing and commercial vessels

Captain: Brad Haight

Captained by owner/operator Brad Haight (son of Captain Max Haight), this 43 foot Rawson specializes in all areas of sport fishing including: Halibut, Tuna, Salmon, Bottom Fishing and Crabbing, as well as Whale Watching Cruises. Captain Brad and crew provide an exciting, action packed fishing adventure! Captain Brad has been in the charter fishing industry out of Depoe Bay his entire life! Brad has been a Captain for 23 years.

Captain: Justin Johnson

Operated by 1st year captain Justin Johnson, this 36-foot Uniflite 6-pack twin diesel specializes in Bottom Fishing, Crabbing and Salmon Fishing. This is Justin's 1st year with Tradewinds after working on charter boats the past few years up in Alaska.

Captain: Craig Calkins
